What you will be doing

• Own the Quality and Automation metrics of the products and services in the organisation to deliver predictable and high-quality releases.
• Collaborate with the engineering and product leadership in various business units to build comprehensive test coverage across the organisation.
• Build, maintain and improve the quality assurance platforms, processes and practices in the organisation to drive a culture of automation.
• Define and monitor quality assurance metrics for continuous quality & process improvements.
• Define and drive implementation of Test Frameworks that are scalable, implementable and less maintainable in the future.
• Demonstrate a product engineering mindset with the ability to strategise and implement the vision and mission.

About You

• Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience
• 6+ years of product quality assurance experience, with at least a year as a lead engineer.
• Minimum 4+ years of Experience as a SDET/automation engineer.
• Preferably with product-based startup experience.
• Experience and hands-on with Automation Framework Development.
• Experience building automation competency using Selenium, REST Assured, Karate, Appium, Web Services, Performance and Load Testing.
• Knowledge and application of concepts such as continuous integration, continuous build, and devops.
• Shows creativity and initiative to improve test coverage and effectiveness.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Good understanding and experience in working product development organisations, B2C product lines, and mobile products.
• Good working experience in test strategies, planning, estimation and test automations.
• Skills & Qualities
• Strong competency in project management, process management, product quality management, people management and delivery management skills and experience.
• Ability to mentor teams and guide them to identify solutions.
• Strong people management skills including building, enabling, managing, retaining a highly talented team of engineers with varied levels of experience and expertise.
• Excellent communication – oral, written, presentation and interpersonal skills.
