About the role:
We are seeking a part-time People Experience Coordinator on a fixed-term contract through to 31 December 2024. The ideal candidate will work a 0.6 week ideally across 5 days, and largely be based in the office for those working hours. We are very flexible here at Fluent Commerce and open to discussing a structure that works for you!
The People team at Fluent are responsible for increasing employee engagement and efficiency by developing systems, processes and programs to support our rapid growth and ensure that our Fluent staff have an amazing employee experience. We are looking for a People Experience Coordinator to join this team and support the VP, People & Culture in the rollout of these employee experiences. This role will also oversee office administration including onboarding for new hires, ensuring office maintenance and upkeep and employee engagement events. Key Responsibilities:
- We want people to be blown away by how incredible the Fluent preboarding and onboarding experience is. You'll partner with the People team on ways we can 'wow' our new starters and support our leaders. This could range from coordinating new starter equipment, Welcome Packs, desk setup, and more.
- Manage office maintenance, shipping, supplies and snacks
- You will support internal communication to ensure employees are kept informed and motivated
- Help coordinate events in the office to boost engagement (e.g. Holiday Party, International Women’s Day, RU OK? Day, etc)
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:
- Ideally you’ll have worked in Events, Office Management or in People Operations specialising in delivering the best employee experience possible or studying towards completion in Human Resources or Event Management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills moving regularly between the tactical and strategic priorities
- Ability to work cross-functionally and balance collaboration and communication with multiple stakeholders across various departments and functions
- Ability to act with integrity and ethics in handling confidential information.
- Ability to be tactical and make timely, effective, people-first decisions.
- Nice to have: AHRI qualified or working towards qualifications
