Who We Are
Healthcare needs a better rhythm: one that keeps care continuous and deeply human. Heidi is building an AI Care Partner that works alongside clinicians to make that possible.
We’re a team of doctors, engineers, designers, researchers, and creatives building tools that help clinicians stay focused on what matters most: their patients.
In just 18 months, Heidi has given back more than 18 million hours to healthcare professionals — supporting 73 million patient visits in 116 countries. Today, more than two million patient visits each week are powered by Heidi worldwide.
Backed by nearly $100 million in funding, we’re growing in the US, UK, Canada, and Europe, partnering with leading health systems including the NHS, Beth Israel Lahey Health, and Monash Health.
The role
We're looking for curious minds to join our product team as interns. You won't own features yet, but you'll work alongside our PMs on real problems that matter.
You'll analyze competitors, dig into data, talk to clinicians, and help us understand what to build next. This isn't coffee-fetching or busy work - you'll contribute to decisions that affect hundreds of thousands of users.
The best interns challenge our assumptions, spot patterns we miss, and ask questions that make the whole room reconsider. Some of our current PMs started exactly here.
What you'll do
Work with PMs to gather and synthesize user feedback from clinicians
Run data analyses and present conclusions that challenge or confirm our hypotheses
Shadow customer calls and identify unspoken needs
Conduct deep competitor analyses
Assist in product discovery - from initial research to feature definition
Help prepare testing materials for new AI features
Ask the uncomfortable questions in meetings that need asking
If we'd worked together the last 6 weeks, you'd have:
Interviewed 10 clinicians and found a workflow everyone else missed
Run a data analysis that killed someone's pet feature (with evidence)
Gone deep on some random healthcare regulation and explained why it matters
What you'll need
Currently pursuing (or have pursued) a degree (any field - we've hired philosophy majors and engineers alike)
Natural curiosity that borders on obsessive - you've gone unnecessarily deep on your interests
The confidence to disagree with senior people (and the tact to do it well)
Data comfort - you can work with spreadsheets and basic analysis without hand-holding
Writing skills that make complex things simple
The ability to see systems and patterns, not just isolated problems
A weird hobby or interest you can talk about for 30 minutes straight
If you answer 'NO' to these questions, this may not be the job for you:
Are you great at spot-the-difference puzzles?
Do you naturally question how things work?
Can you explain complex ideas to your non-technical grandmother?
Have you ever gone down a 3-hour research rabbit hole just because?
Are you comfortable being wrong in public (and learning from it)?
Does the prospect of re-energising our health systems make you feel fuzzy inside?
The Way We Work
1. Build to Last
We design for safety and reliability so clinicians, patients, and our teams can trust what we build every day.
2. Own Your Practice
Ideas rise on merit, not title, and everyone shares responsibility for the standards we set together.
3. Move Fast, Stay Steady
We move quickly but never at the cost of trust. Progress only matters if people can depend on what we make.
4. Make Others Better
Honest feedback, steady support, and shared growth keep our teams improving together.
