Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end onboarding process with banks, financial institutions, alternative payment methods, and acquirers across the globe.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding experience.
  • Ensure all compliance requirements are met during the onboarding process, including understanding Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), Fraud Due Diligence (FDD), periodic reviews, risk triggers, Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) responsibilities, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT), and sanctions screening.
  • The candidate must have led a team of 3-4 analysts previously. However, this is an individual contributor role
  • Identify and address potential compliance issues and risks during the onboarding process.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the onboarding process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all onboarding documentation and processes.


Qualifications:

  • 3-6 years of experience in a compliance function, preferably in the payments industry.
  • Proven experience in leading a team in a previous role.
  • Strong understanding of compliance concepts such as CDD, EDD, FDD, periodic reviews, risk triggers, MLRO, AML, CFT, and sanctions screening.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to hustle for success and drive results.
