Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of the US licensing project—including pre-application strategy, documentation, regulator engagement, application submission, and regulatory follow-up through post-approval operationalization.
- Coordinate teams to develop and implement policies, procedures, and operational frameworks that meet MTL regime requirements and can be directly actioned post-approval.
- Serve as Tazapay’s trusted US point of contact for regulatory and legislative developments, licensing audits, and entity-level compliance matters.
- Advise leadership on regulatory changes and risks; recommend practical, compliant adaptations to company operations.
- Manage project deliverables, timelines, reporting, and document retention in support of licensing and compliance.
- Support regulatory inquiries, examinations, and ongoing relationship management with US state and federal authorities Key Responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) or legal background preferred; advanced degree or compliance certification advantageous.
- 8+ years of regulatory, legal, or program management experience in payments, fintech, or financial services.
- Hands-on experience leading MTL license applications and operational rollout—ideally for multiple US states.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work with remotely (during initial period) with cross functional teams across cultures and geographies.
